Talk to your parents before you start, and together check with the people responsible for the playground (usually town/city or school) to see if it’s okay to proceed.

A cool way to unite the neighbourhood is to create a big banner! Have each home do a special design on a small square of fabric -- then string all the squares together to show some local pride! Get some tall and willing adults to tie the banner up in the tree. This will make the playground more colourful, and get people interested in who is involved!
